Biography

Dr. Justin Rock attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated summa cum laude with Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Molecular Biology. He then completed a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a research focus on malignant melanoma.


Dr. Rock remained at Thomas Jefferson University to complete his medical training at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, where he graduated in the top quartile of his class. He then completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, followed by an additional year of specialized training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery through the Davis P. Green Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship at The Hand Center of San Antonio.


Throughout his education and training, Dr. Rock served in numerous leadership roles that allowed him to oversee and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows. He has also published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to advancements in both basic science and Orthopaedics.


Dr. Rock has a special interest in elbow, wrist, and hand surgery, as it aligns with his passion for restoring patients’ function and improving their quality of life. He is proud to bring that passion and expertise to Fort Myers and the surrounding communities.


Outside of medicine, Dr. Rock enjoys boating and spending time on the water with his family.
