Biography

Dr. David Eichten, D.O., is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in advanced joint replacement of the hip, knee, and shoulder. Originally from Minnesota, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of St. Thomas in 2001 with a degree in Biology. He went on to earn his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA and receiving the prestigious Gold Stethoscope Award for finishing first in his class. Dr. Eichten completed his orthopedic surgery residency through Ohio University at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio.

Recognized as a high-volume joint replacement specialist, Dr. Eichten offers expertise in cutting-edge procedures such as quadriceps-sparing robotic total knee, partial knee, anterior supine minimally invasive total hip, stemless total shoulder, and reverse shoulder replacement. In addition to surgical care, he provides advanced regenerative treatments, including LipoGems® and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, to help patients restore mobility and return to active living.
