Dr.Krynetskiy joined the Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida team in 2012 in order to satisfy the need for a specialty-trained Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle surgeon in Southwest Florida. Dr.Krynetskiy recognized the challenges and rewards of foot and ankle surgery while working in Shriners Hospital of Philadelphia during his residency training. Helping to care for patients from many countries, many of whom had complicated (and often chronically untreated) lower extremity deformities provided the stimulus to seek further advanced training at Duke University Foot and Ankle Fellowship program. During his time at Duke, Dr.Krynetskiy treated acutely injured patients and those suffering from long-term effects of prior trauma and chronic inflammatory disease. Should the body’s natural ability to heal an injury to the ankle become exhausted – ankle arthroplasty was employed with significant success. He is here to help the community overcome inconveniences of ankle sprain and to tackle significant lower extremity dysfunction.
In addition to specializing in foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Krynetskiy has extensive experience with fracture care in elderly adults.
In addition to his work with Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida, Dr.Krynetskiy enjoys sailing and spearfishing.
