Although we essentially treat all common upper extremity problems at “The Hand and Upper Extremity Center”, Dr. Dennis O. Sagini also performs more complex reconstructions of injured extremities. Above is a video which illustrates a patient who suffered a traumatic injury to the ring finger, necessitating both orthopaedic and cosmetic management. Five weeks after reconstruction this is her function. Most people do not notice the missing digit.
